Chicago Sun Times outdoor columnist Dale Bowman and his naturalist/author friend Joel Greenberg put on one of the best outdoor radio shows in the Chicago area, Outside with Dale Bowman and Joel Greenberg. I’m flattered to appear on their show and to be added to the impressive list of guests they’ve had on since their first show back in January of this year.
The show was prerecorded a few weeks ago and will air today, Monday, October 24th at 4:30 PM.
So what did we talk about? I know the primary focus was the Fox River, but from there, it could have gone anywhere. Those who know me know about my ability to talk in wide ranging circles that eventually, some day, come back to the point. That’s pretty much how this went.
After it was recorded I sent an email to Dale and asked how he thought it went. His reply:
We wandered, or you wandered and we wandered with you.
It should make a good show from what I heard on my end.
So, we’ll see. I do remember enjoying the conversation at the time.
When you get a chance, tune in. The links below will take you where you need to be. I personally listen to the podcasts which become available soon after the airing of the show, I don’t always have the time or ability to listen at 4:30 on Mondays.
Hope you like it and let me know what you think.
