To play catch up, you can read the past progress reports here.

Well, there really isn’t one.
As far as I can tell, nothing has been done for months.
I’m sure there has been a little thing done here or there, but I don’t notice it.
I had such high hopes that this project would move along quickly.
I even wrote a few other things about it.
The creek itself is the lowest I’ve ever seen it due to the continuing drought. An opportunity has been missed in diverting not much water and getting rid of all the sentiment built up behind the dam. I guess they’re waiting for rain so there’s more reasons to continue to put this off.
Maybe next year I’ll put up another update.
Maybe it will be done by then.

3 Aug 2012I should have linked to what you’ve been writing about that to show the difference.
Here, they do have to remove sediment up to 10 feet deep and well over 100 yards long. I understand that takes a lot. But you would think something would have happened by now.

3 Aug 2012Did they lay out the plan for the removal and disposal of that sediment?

3 Aug 2012That’s all been done, went to a meeting back in April I think that spelled it all out. Who knows what’s going on. Don’t feel like asking around.
