In it, on it or sitting on the shore watching it flow by.
I don’t know of any other way to relax.
For the love of flowing water and those that need the same.

14 May 2015Thanks Bob. I think my favorite one is the last one. No water, but it was right next to it.

14 May 2015Well Ken, I sympathise. As for me, it’s more about salt water, but any other water will do in a pinch.

15 May 2015I agree Robin, any water will do.
Even big water is constantly moving and there’s something unique about salt water.

15 May 2015Wish I had your photography gift. Another group of beautiful pictures. Living on the east-west stretch of the Fox, we have sunrise and sunset on the flowing waters and occasional clumps of noisy paddlers Many who get stuck in the shallows. Dick

15 May 2015I wish I was a little better at it Dick. Now and then I get lucky.
You do have a nice spot on the river. When I was in Yorkville, I tried to wander down to the river for a lot of sunsets. The view was perfect for that. It’s always fun to sit and wave to the stuck paddlers.

15 May 2015Surely and truly therapeutic. Great job of setting the mood.

16 May 2015Thanks Mel. I can’t imagine not living near a river or creek. I’d go crazier than I am.

16 May 2015One of the things I missed the most when I was down, was flowing water. I can’t explain the feeling but I suspect you know what I mean Ken. Great photos as usual.

16 May 2015That would be a tough one Howard, especially after what you went through.
In a perfect world, I would live near the shore of a river on the east side so I could watch sunsets and flowing water at the same time.

17 May 2015There is something magical about the sound of moving water, be it creek, river, or waves in a lake or the the ocean. If more people took time to connect with it, there might be a lot less grief in the world. Thanks for the beautiful pictures, Ken.

17 May 2015Thank you Rick. I’ve always known about how sound and brain waves can sync, resulting in calm if the music is right.
I feel the same way about water. You just have to let your brain relax enough to enjoy it.
