I prefer a representation of the abstract qualities of water over it’s painfully detailed rendering.
I know what water looks like.
Take a shot.
Zoom in and take another shot.
Zoom in more and take one more.

26 Aug 2015In total agreement. I’ve always been fascinated by the play of light and water and their combined ability to generate enthralling abstraction. Like staring into a campfire. Good stuff, Ken.

26 Aug 2015I’ve always tried to play with light Mike, probably why I’m out there shooting sunsets all the time. It’s that magical hour. I’ve played with the abstract qualities of light through trees for years too and I’ve finally figured out what to do with all those images. Now I just need the time to play with them. Winter’s coming, sun goes down at 5 soon. Possibly then. Not now, I’m watching the sky as I type this, looking out the window. Might be a decent sunset. No point in missing it.
